This is what I've been doing since August. I gathered rocks from Lake Ontario and Lake Tahoe, then I learned to use a drill press (only drilling my thumb in half once :). I cored the rocks, polished, stacked and here we are. Truly one of a kind! Lamp shades are your choice on a first come basis - I mostly have the mica shades from Pottery Barn. I hope you like...
